Wyatt and Tyler playing in the snow. They had so much fun together!! Its fun to have a cousin that was born the same day.

We had a great time in Wyoming. We enjoyed a great meal with my parents, Candace, Duane and family, Robert, Stacy and family and my cousin Gwen and her family from Utah
and my Aunt Linda and Uncle Alan. Some of us enjoyed riding in my dad and Chad's airplane. We also went hunting for our Christmas tree. Randy hiked up the hill while I played with the kids on the hill. We also went to the night Christmas parade and really enjoyed playing with cousins and family. On Saturday Randy, Duane, Robert and my dad put some new tin on the old barn. They worked really hard and it looks great. My dad also has a little snowmobile the kids played on. They loved it, especially Justin, he would ride it until his thumb hurt from the pushing the throttle.

Dolphins Room

Brandon and Justin have always wanted a Miami Dolphins room and I wasn't keen on painting a room orange and turquoise but since their room is upstairs I was finally talked into it. We want to put up some shelves sometime so it's not quite done. They love it and so does their dad!!

First Day of School

I was thinking I should update my blog, but we haven't been doing a lot lately and when we do something fun I forget to take my camera (linder farms, trunk or treat). Then I remembered I didn't put pictures of the first day of school so here they are.

Fun In Stanley

When Randy and Sally were here in September. We took a day trip up to Stanley, ID. Here is Brandon and Alyssa by Redfish lake.

One of the locals told us of a place where the boys could catch a fish on every cast. They were right!! The boys had tons of fun catching fish.

We cooked some hotdogs and smores, minus the graham crackers (my fault).

We had a lot of fun and scouted out lots of campgrounds for next summer!!

Yellowstone Park

We had a great time in Yellowstone Park, camping with my parents. They are pro Yellowstone guides and campers!! Thanks mom and dad for a great time. Old Faithful our first stop.

These were the lower falls. We went on a hike down to the falls and this was the overlook. It was awesome. The picture doesn't do it justice. It is really high!

Brandons 9th Birthday

Brandon had a fun 9th birthday. It was a little bit cold so we went bowling for his birthday and had dinner with everyone at my parents house. He had a football cake. He got some new golf clubs and some balls and a golf glove. He also got some legos, a ds game, a badmitten game, battleship and domino's game and of course some money.

The Swimming Hole

When we were in Wyoming one afternoon we went over to the swimming hole in Auburn close to my parents house. When we were growing up we would go the to "swimming hole" on the warm summer evenings. My sisters and brother and kids and my mom had been playing on the rope swing a couple of days earlier and told us how much fun it had been so we thought we would try it. When we got there my sister Candace said wow it is much colder than it was yesterday. Lucky Us! We all had to try out the robe swing but Justin and Randy were the only ones daring enough to let go and drop in the freezing water. When I swung around the second time I couldn't get back to the shore so against my will I had to drop off.
